One could argue that by moving from one DRM-restricted walled garden like PlayStation or Xbox to Steam is not a real solution since Steam is the same in that one does not truly own their purchases, you’re only buying a license to play the game.
Everyone trusts Valve now, but remember when everyone was up in arms about Xbox not allowing for the reselling of game discs? Remember Sony’s brutal video on how to share games on PS4 using discs? Everyone celebrated and trusted Sony then, now 13 years later?
I don’t work for GOG, but I do think they are doing things right for gamers — selling games that are DRM-free and come with offline installers. This way when I buy a game, I own the game. They might not have the latest AAA titles, but games that were fun before are still fun today — and the benefit is that they’re cheaper and fully patched up.
Let’s not keep supporting businesses that don’t let us own what we buy digitally.

I LOVE WHEN A GAME LETS ME COLLECT OUTFITS!!!!the jokes are even better as what you would expect from a LEGO game, even as an adult.the gameplay is fun, not too hard, maybe a little repetitive sometimes. i still managed to get it to almost 100%, completed the whole map and all the side quests without feeling like i was doing chores.i didn't really care much about the fights, even tho i enjoyed the arkham feels, it wasn't as good as the other games.the puzzles are nice tho. some of them are very easy, but i had to really think for others.a few glitches here and there that can be infuriating, but it didn't ruin the game for me.the overall ux is not the best as well, i hope an update could fix some stuff.i reeeeally want LEGO to take this opportunity and build a bigger DC Universe of their own, outside of Gotham.

what a sequel, holy shit.
story wise it has everything i was expecting for, following the first game.
maybe a few redundancy here and there and the dialogs could be improved, but i was at the edge of my seat the whole time during the last act. (even tho i guessed the main twist less than 10 hours into the game)
Kojima's way of mixing a serious story with goofy elements is awesome. the exact type of storytelling i love.
to be honest, i'm mostly playing Death Stranding for the story anyway.
even tho the gameplay can be fun and interesting, i cannot say that going back and forth for dozens of hours is what i find appealing in a game.
and yet, i'm having fun?? because while i do that i get to follow the story. not just the main story but the side quests too!
maybe we don't have enough side quests btw. a shit ton of meaningless orders that are only rewarded by likes.
i wanted to do everything and even i got bored of it... my completionist mind is a bit frustrated...
i still love how the gameplay reinvents itself while we progress. i like how we don't start from zero, totally forgetting what we got in the first game. it's refreshing!

started playing Voivod: The Nuclear Warrior
Baixei e joguei o demo de Voivod: The Nuclear Warrior. Gostei. Possui uma ambientação e atmosfera que lembra "I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream" (conto de Harlan Ellison que também já foi adaptado para os games).
Há um detalhe interessante sobre o personagem que controlamos: ele perdeu a memória, mas é orientado por um tal de Nothingface, que seria uma espécie de consciência. Neste ponto, me fez lembrar de Disco Elysium, com aqueles aspectos psicológicos (Thought Cabinet, salvo engano).
Mas, aqui, a jogabilidade mistura shooter (run and gun) com Metroidvania. A versão completa será lançada no primeiro trimestre de 2027. No demo, há dois modos para escolher: um que te coloca direto na ação, numa fase aleatória e outro que parece seguir a história da campanha desde o ínicio. Joguei só o "aleatório", mas curti o pouco que vi do modo campanha.
É aquele clima de Sci-Fi bem misterioso, que traz elementos de Alien / Super Metroid, mas também de filmes do Cronenberg, com aquela pegada biotecnológica. Vale a pena conferir.

Steam has a similar problem as Discord, where comments from someone you blocked appear as a collapsed comment with an alluring "show" button, tempting the user into seeing, maybe out of anxiety or curiosity, triggering contents. This could lead to some unpleasant situations that blocking itself should already solve.
Luckily, Steam's forums have a relatively simple code, and Valve doesn't update their platform's UI every other month unlike Patreon, so if browsing the place on a browser with Ublock Origin, or with some other tool that supports UBO's custom filter system, the following filter should suffice for a decent while:

Explaining, the filter checks any id element that starts (^=) with deleted_comment_ (how comments from blocked users are tagged) in a given div code block.
Since, as far as I'm aware, the combination <div id="deleted_comment_(whatever)" (whatever)> doesn't appear anywhere else, it shouldn't cause any conflicts. But in case it does and the results are undesired, the following filter should check only for comments in discussion pages:
