It is time that, as a society, we put organizations like Mastercard Visa and CollectiveShout into the shredder.
Not absolving Steam and itch.io for bending the knee either, when they have plenty of weight to throw around in the matter.
steam
I suggest we protest against #Steam over its excessive fees, both the cost of publishing games on the platform and the large cut it takes from each sale
If users dont listen because they are happy with Steam and unaffected by this, we could price our games higher on Steam than on other platforms to encourage people to buy them elsewhere
This seems like a solid and realistic idea to me, since given Steam's monopoly, many of us simply cant afford to avoid releasing our games there
Please sign this petition to oppose censorship from payment processors and extremists!
It's made and supported by female and gender-marginalised people working in games. Collective Shout does not speak for us. They can't silence us. We will continue to stand up for freedom of expression in games.

Nintendo really needs to add achievements/trophies to their platform. Other gaming platforms have had it forever.
Nintendo not having achievements discourages me from playing games on their platform if a game is available elsewhere.

OPEN TO RETRO GAIDEN USERS ONLY
I have a spare Steam key for Tower of Time, an isometric cRPG with RTwP combat. I haven't had the chance to play it myself (yet) but I'd like to give back to the RG community.
To enter, recommend a cRPG that you feel doesn't get enough love or recognition!
Retro or modern, either is fine, but it must be a cRPG. No console/JRPGs.
RULES: Follow, Favorite, Repost.
ENDS: May 29th
