I spent the last couple of days to figure out how to compile my own custom godot export templates with encryption key baked in.

I made a set of podman containerfiles and scripts to automate the process.
Tested that it worked with my own project.

They are available on codeberg [1]

I built the scripts around the last stable Godot 4.7.1 release. But it is easy to update this to any release you like.

I am currently wrestling with an entity and world state system. I have a problem because I would want to be able to do `if node is Entity: stuff()`, but root nodes of various scenes (like a game character, and interactive prop etc) uses a node type like CharacterBody3D which properties I want to access, but also extend Entity

Somehow, the whole knight-on-a-hobby-horse setup still wasn’t silly enough for me. So I added an apple on top – which you can have a gnome shoot off your head, Wilhelm Tell style.

Warping places is working + Have visuals set up for it, basically a sphere rendering a screen space viewport texture so distant things in space can be scaled down to be manageable and render behind "local space" scenes in 1:1 scale

Was bored and got sidetracked yesterday, so here's Schema integrated into my Sapphire toolkit, with live-editing support.

Schema is basically my own visual node system integration written fully in GDScript with a bi-directional system, so if you write GDScript, it can also get automatically represented in Schema, and vice-versa, you can place and connect nodes in Schema, and the GDScript gets updated to match your graph.

I've put this off last year in September, but I finally fixed some of its quirks and it's now a workable state where I can add stuff to it quite easily.

After I release PRISONIA in early access later this year, Schema will be accessible as part of an update that introduces a mod studio that lets you create your own game mods directly in the game using GDScript and Schema, depending on your preference.
