The Interlisp documentation has a distinctive style that conforms to "Xerox Publishing Standards: A Manual of Style and Design" published in 1988 in this edition. It was the Xerox house style, i.e. the style guide for company publications and documents. The manual covered everything from the publishing process to visual design.

Published in 1986, "INTERLISP: The Language and Its Usage" by Stephen Kaisler was the only book on Interlisp printed by a publisher. It extensively covers the Interlisp language and environment with many code snippets and examples.

Interesting to see the original employee sales receipt for this. $250 in 1982 is about $815 today.
This is for the expansion system chassis and the disk drive.
This is employee pricing, for the plebs it was probably at least 3 times as much? The only price I could find is for just the disk drive alone (~$400 street, or about $1,300 today). [You'd also need the interface card, which costs extra.]
Total Replay II: Instant Replay v1.0-alpha.4 is out.
This is volume 2 of Total Replay, featuring sports games, flight sims, puzzles, game shows, and board games. If it involves blowing things up, it's probably in volume 1. This release features 89 games, all playable from a single bootable 32MB hard disk image.

Hey so I got a new thing! It’s a Performer PL-CL-SE accelerator for the Mac SE from MacEffects. Supposed to make the lowly SE run like a SE/30 at 16Mhz.
Let’s pop it into one of my SEs and see how it “performs” 😄
So I've attached a USB to serial adapter to my laptop and hooked it up to the user port of my C64. After four lines of BASIC it actually displays a login prompt! How cool is that? Apart from the fact that the encoding is totally broken and the whole thing runs at only 600 baud.

Yes that's #FastFetch running in #MiNT (no, not Linux Mint!, #Atari MiNT, the one and only)
How is the DOS PC game 'Discworld' 30 years old! 🤯
I wrote about this fantastic, yet very difficult point and click adventure in 2010 and also enhanced the original MIDI music for use within @scummvm
I think I'm putting my #ZXSpectrum raycaster to bed now that I have movement. I'm happy that it works (my first attempt at machine language) 😅. Some weird graphical glitches around certain intersections of ray path and map grid (jagged wall edges), but considering the huge approximations I made, it's not bad.
I moved it above the first 16k of memory that apparently makes it run faster and (combined with disabling interrupts) definitely does improve the refresh rate. #RetroComputing
The NoteCards hypermedia system was developed in Interlisp at Xerox PARC by @fghalasz Frank Halasz, Tom Moran, and Randy Trigg. In this 1985 videotape Moran introduced the main concepts of NoteCards, and Halasz demonstrated how to use the system to organize notes and sources for writing a research paper.
