We're probably going to see FOSS split up into a #neverslop and a techbro camp. I think it's inevitable, given recent developments around the Linux kernel etc. But as sad as this may be, I think it's for the better in the end. Because parting ways with those who don't care about their work and the people around them will make it possible to build resilient communities in which folks can collaborate on a much higher standard than before.
If AI hate is a spectrum, that means there's one person on fedi who HATES AI more than everyone else.
