Worksloppage (noun): The phenomenon where productivity actually halts or decreases because you're spending time sorting through, editing, or fixing AI-generated content rather than creating original work. A portmanteau of "work" + "slop" + "stoppage."
AI slop is threatening journalism by churning out clickbaity versions of original stories, capturing web traffic, and destroying readers' trust in media. NiemanLab's Ben Paviour takes a look at how it's proliferating, with the help of Google.

Please bear in mind that calling "AI" output "slop" makes Satya Nadella sad. Under no circumstances should you call their office suite "Microslop Slopilot". That would just be mean and you're better than that.

All the while stealing our content to train on, flattening whole forests to make space for their crap centers, consume water and electricity meant for people

What a terrible joke..

What people defending AI don't understand, is how much people who dislike AI, dislike AI.
It's not just a casual "uhh I am not a fan of this" stance. It is a full rejection paired with mentally stigmatizing, probably forever, the AI product & the company behind it.
People on the internet have long memory. We all know who did NFTs in the past & we know who is doing AI right now.
Are you really ready to brand yourself & your livelihood with this?
An AI slop site I encounter a lot when searching is DeepWiki. It scans code and builds "documentation" wiki pages of open source code projects.
It also has a page on @novelwriter. The overarching code structure part is fairly good, and mostly correct but with a few consistently wrong hangups. But the usage section, which is based on my detailed and extensive documentation, is wrong or misleading on a lot of pretty important and basic stuff.
Useless. Just read the docs.

Since it wasn't immediately obvious to me when I first looked, freepixel.art / freepixelart.itch.io is AI slop, not actual pixel art produced by humans.
