There is a controversy about Tintin entering the public domain in United States. For Alain Berenboom, lawyer for the Hergé Foundation, according to the Berne Convention, Tintin will enter the public domain in 2034.

Working on a little experiment, trying to convert a Batman artwork by the skilled Max Grecke to 3D as faithfully as possible.
Instead of focusing on modeling, as I usually do, I'm putting the emphasis on transferring the texture, which takes a lot of work in Blender Texture Paint.
