I like this more than Bergman’s more abstract films. This one feels like 90% reality and 10% magical realism. There’s something Lynch-ian in the ghosts and the ghost stories that I really enjoyed.

Godzilla and Anguirus look so great and so much more cursed when the lights are off. When they turned the lights on in the 1960s, everyone just looks so… goofy.
This one had a mix of mostly sped up kaiju and some slow-mo kaiju. The slo-mo works so much better than 1x or 2x speed.

Each act is well done and ends with a big, memorable action sequence. Fun, playful action.
Time will tell, but this one feels less memorable than the previous 3.
