The first act is great, but then it losses momentum. The wristwatch is fun at first, but then becomes a “get out of jail free” card for the writers. Slow boring chase scenes. Hackneyed cliffhanger ending.

Digital tools have made it easier than ever before to make and distribute independent films. This is not necessarily a *good* thing.

There are about 5 minutes of Blair Witch-esque screaming in the woods at night while spooky music plays. Those 5 minutes were the only time that “acting” occurred and that scene was somewhat entertaining. That’s the only positive feedback.

This reminds me of Birdemic: Shock and Horror (2010) in its tacky tastelessness and lack of attention to basic details. Mundane and repetitive. One of the worst films I’ve ever seen.
