The grand jury refused to indict The Sandwich Guy who had been charged with a felony for throwing a sandwich into a group of federal officers in DC!

He's become the symbol of resistance in DC, and here he is, tossing a sandwich and hitting Steven Miller. This is in the Howard University neighborhood.

Open Book Fountain

This sculpture was created by Kelecsenyi Gergely & engineer Jozsef Szita.
The fountain uses water to create the illusion of turning pages, and serves as a reminder of the importance of physical books.

Location: Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, Hungary. On Egyetem Square, in front of the university.

A large, bean-like, hairy, fluffy something with small black eyes and a tiny mouth. Next to it is another monster, only smaller. The unusual still life composition with a golden fruit bowl with pears and an apple and a glass carafe is complemented by the appearance of the fluffy figures and framed by a golden picture frame. The two seem to be painting faces on the fruit with paint rollers. Very well painted and very cute monsters.
