Voyager scene. We're in a 1950's era movie theater and looking at Janeway and Tuvok (in uniform) watching a movie. Behind them are several other moviegoers, and you can se bright orange and teal beams of light coming from the projection room towards the screen. Both Janeway and Tuvok are wearing cardboard 3D glasses. No caption.

happy #StarTrek day!

it taught me compassion, kindness, & hope, led me to marrying @susanlbridges and us having a kid, and was the theme of our re-wedding!

it was such an honor to consult on Prodigy, to write for Star Trek Adventures… and hopefully so much more to come

Discovery scene. We're in a side conference type room with some lit star maps on a wall screen in the background. Closer up is Tilly and Burnham. Both are wearing gold plated uniforms with with black cloth. Burnham is looking at Tilly, and Tilly is looking forward with ambition. Closed caption reads, "Well, let's not keep these assholes waiting."

DS9 scene, three pictures. In picture one and two, Jadzia Dax and a Klingon named Kor are reuniting/hugging, in picture three the hug ends and they remain close and look very happy to see one another. Kor is an older Klingon, white scraggly hair and goatee, sharpe teeth, forehead ridge loaf, and grey white big flowy curly hair. Dax is in her blue science uniform on DS9 station. She has what looks like tattoos running up her neck up each side of her face through to the hairline. Closed caption dialogue as follows;
Picture one, picture focused on Kor, "Oh Curzon, my beloved old friend."

Scene from Spaceballs the Movie™️
We see Dark Helmet & Colonel Sanderz standing in front of a video wall and a lineup of VHS tapes. There's a sign above the tapes reading "Mr. Rental." An officer w/a round white helmet sits with his back to us and on the screen in front of him is an exact replication of what we the viewer are looking at. Dark Helmet is looking at the camera with a perplexed, terrified, confused look on his face. His mask is up and you can see his face, kind of a nerdy looking fellow with big round glasses wearing a giant domed black helmet and black uniform, similar to Darth Vader but not as menacing. Picture 1, closed caption reads, "When does this happen in the movie?" Picture 2, with Colonel Sanderz now speaking, closed caption reads,"Now. You're looking at now, sir." Picture 3, Colonel Sanderz continues while Dark Helmet continues to look absolutely befuddled, "Everything that happens now is happening now."

Young ensign Wesley Crusher sits at a console on the bridge, but he's turned around like he's having a talk with safe adult who has walked up behind him. He looks sincere and earnest, as if it's a 'very special episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation.' He's wearing his blue and blue and gold and red and blue again Wesley sweater, which is not a bad look, tbh. Closed caption reads, "drugs can make you feel good."

#startrek scarf #knitting update:

Today I finished the side profile view of the Deep Space Nine station!

There’s only 62 rows left, and they’ll make up the top view of the same station.

I do like how, by pure chance, the station sits within the complete spectrum of colour :)

This should hopefully all be done in the next few days, I’ve decided to add a fringe to it also, so the next update will be when it’s finished, washed, dried, and ready to be sent to my friend for Christmas.

On the left: black station against rainbow sky.

On the right: vice versa

DS9 scene. Nog is pictured up close and in dialogue, I think in a cafatorium or bar. He's a Ferengi, and has giant ear lobes that run from the bottom of his ears all the up and around and down the forehead and connect at the bridge of the nose. He's also bald and has a high rise head, kind of shaped like a beluga whale. He's explaining something here with enthusiasm. Closed caption reads, "It's the force that binds the universe together."

Star Trek Deep Space Nine scene. We're looking at an alien named Morn. Morn is looking up while having a sit and holding up a wee little cocktail glass. Morn is wearing a soft padded jacket that looks like one of those nice old fancy leather couches with some weathering. His face is thumb shaped, w/tiny lil ears and a smaller and higher than normal little nose. Skin sort of looks like droopy bark on a tree? This probably makes no sense, Morn is tricky to describe because he contains so many multitudes. No caption.

I'm about four hours in to Star Trek: Resurgence, and I'm delighted. The game "feels" like Star Trek: competent and idealistic people doing their best, themes of trust and perseverance, moral dillemas, sweeping views of ships. I was surprised how "social" a game it is: very much you are navigating the expectations of your fellow crew members.

The star trek resurence cover, a woman holds a phaser, a man holds a tricorder. Both are in uniforms before a starry background.
