I just now discovered that @Gargron follows me so does this mean that I need to share snippets of the romance Novella I created where John Mastodon and the Fediverse chick, Nicole, get into a romance? She is a firefighter in the small town of Activity Pub. Has a HEA but not really a lot of conflict because I couldn’t think of a lot of conflict, but she wants to run for mayor for the town, but she’s lonely and gets involved with him, and everyone is suspicious because he is the new guy in town. There is smut, but only for one chapter. It has minimal conflict, a lot of hurt/comfort, and a lot of fluff. It has cookie descriptions! #Romance #RomanceLandia

The Elevator pitch?

What if Dracula stole Jonathan's raiser because he wants to see what Jonathan looks like with a beard but is an anxious vampire? A Romantic Comedy retelling of Dracula with a HEA and a masterclass in anxious communication! I had *fun* writing this so much!

One of my audiobook husbands reads this, so this is why I think you should drop everything and read this, but what really swept me off my literary feet was the pages upon pages of incredibly gorgeous lush pros that described flying with dragons that lust after the protagonist. I find books in the strangest places. This one I found, because I was listening to the latest episode of the bookfast club podcast wherein the hosts were scolding their Black listeners because their listeners were calling them a racial word that rhymes with noon, because they didn’t like the book. I don’t think I’m gonna continue the podcast because they seem to constantly shit on romance including romantasy and Black romances but even though the episode was a rant, at least I found this out of it.
