#monsterdon look, it's not that the sword isn't nice, it's very nice, but it's no clear PVC Laser-Toob with flesh-hardening and custom lazer-blast pattern, you know?
Ruined Childhood village, Quicksand, this thing is hitting every classic Gen-X kid movie trope in order
#monsterdon I unironically wish they still made movies like this. Just an absolutely standard hero's journey, traveling through cool places on the way and outsmarting a griffin or mermaid or whatever
Greetings! My friend and I saw you from across the clearing and really like your vibe! #monsterdon

putting someone on a raft in water to burn them up seems silly
A lot of the class abilities these guys have seem to be based on editing tricks.
that trap doesn't work. he just has to roll over. it'd literally pull the mace _up_.
Tonight on #Monsterdon 🐦️ ⚔️ 🪄 (Hawk the Slayer, 1980). I'll be rather active for ~2 hours, starting around 01:00 UTC (21:00 EDT, 18:00 PDT), so if you don't want silly commentary about a janky fantasy movie, mute the hashtag.
But if that's your thing, feel free to join in the watch-along/live-tooting/MST3King! Free streaming locations presently include youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lGzhEtRvmIy) and tubi (https://tubitv.com/movies/465040/hawk-the-slayer)
#monsterdon the elf's name is Crow? You think there'd be some corvid aesthetics going on

Poor script, acting, directing, sound. Not even Palance's scenery-chewing could save it for me.

As someone posted in the #MonsterMiru watch party after #Monsterdon, a Conan rip-off but a cut above every other Conan rip-off.
Just casually excommunicating your kid from the family as a method of discipline
Ah, the 80's
if I'm ever attacked by the stuff, please don't "help" by lighting my face on fire
Thanks @Taweret for hosting Stuff and @ryan / @miru for the double and Kodo and Podo for not stealing my pants #monsterdon
