Not watching #Monsterdon, by the way, because I'm in the waiting room of the doctor's office. Maybe I'll get home in time for Howling II. In his review of the latter, Roger Ebert referenced the fact that the scene where Sybil Danning rips open her dress is repeated twice in the closing credits, "providing the movie with its second and third interesting moments."

When this post is about 1 hour old, at 7 PM MST, the waves of a #monsterdon will wash over the fediverse. Monsterdon waves are generated by undersea earthquakes, so they can be very large! Luckily most Fediverse software has seawalls that allow you to block hashtags, so do that if you prefer not to be inundated. or Or OR *let* the waves in, *follow* the hashtag, and watch along!

Tonight, we are watching a movie simply titled "Godzilla." So, I think it's fair to assume that this is the only Godzilla move that exists. I guess we will find out what a "Godzilla" is, and all I can really guess from the trailer is that it must have escaped from Jurassic Park. From the trailer, it also appears that the movie is filmed by Hank Azaria, however, how we can see him filming it while he films it is not clear. Maybe we'll find out, or maybe this is just some of that "Movie Magic" they speak of.

Also whoever cut the trailer is fond of dick jokes apparently, so there's that.

I need to take a bath. Not enough time before #Monsterdon

After movie… need to take a bath. I didnt change clothes for two days. I need to do one activity not caring for dog or watching movies after the movie.
Hey, for the first time ever, I think when I went to search for tonight's #monsterdon movie on Tubi, it was already there, #2, in the "trending searches"

Has #monsterdon conquered Tubi?

My Blu-ray copy of tonight's #monsterdon movie is so old it's got a trailer at the beginning for the very concept of Blu-ray.

tomorrow! for #monsterdon's viewing of The Adventures of Hercules (1985) i'm planning on doing an unofficial ad-free bootleg-ass owncast livestream of the movie again at https://miru.miyaku.media 🗼

⏰ pre-stream countdown with music from the movie’s composer, Ultra Q E27 “Flight 206 Disappears”, and trailer starts at ~8:15pm eastern
🎥 The Adventures of Hercules (1985) starts at 9pm eastern (English audio, hardcoded English subtitles)
🍿 stick around for more same-director-but-now-it’s Godzilla (1977, Italian audio with hardcoded English subtitles)
❗please have a backup option just-in-case

Whew! Made it home just in time for #Monsterdon ! Mute the hashtag if you don't want to get spammed with Kaiju nonsense for the next 1:45

We've watching another Godzilla move tonight, and while I am excited, I just don't see how as many things can possibly happen in this movie as our last Godzilla move, which had a things / second rate that asymptotically approached infinity.

Root post for #Monsterdon , #Godzilla from 1998 today. I actually remember seeing this one in the theater for some reason. And I mean "I remember that I saw it in the theater," I don't remember much about what happens. Aside from Godzilla being in it.

And I'm going to guess that, at some point, a glass of liquid ripples ominously. That's just a guess, though.
