yeah that's not gonna be a kill strike, he's gonna be bleeding for hours and probably won't die 'til the infection sets in
least y'could do is finish him off, hawkman
monsterdon
#monsterdon look, it's not that the sword isn't nice, it's very nice, but it's no clear PVC Laser-Toob with flesh-hardening and custom lazer-blast pattern, you know?
Ruined Childhood village, Quicksand, this thing is hitting every classic Gen-X kid movie trope in order
#monsterdon I unironically wish they still made movies like this. Just an absolutely standard hero's journey, traveling through cool places on the way and outsmarting a griffin or mermaid or whatever
imagine if they had had enough microphones for all the actors in every scene
sir, I can barely understand what you're saying
That elf has a twelve o'clock shadow. Didn't they know elves can't grow beards? #monsterdon
that trap doesn't work. he just has to roll over. it'd literally pull the mace _up_.
It's a 50-meter dash, it won't take long
I recommend closing your eyes and just listening to the action. The sound effects are grand. weeooweeooweeoo pewpewpew pling. #monsterdon
That was fun. Thanks as always to @Taweret and @miyaku_media #Monsterdon
hope #monsterdon’s ready for the sequel to Hawk the Slayer: Hawk Tuah
finished watching The Beastmaster 🌕🌕🌕🌑🌑
As someone posted in the #MonsterMiru watch party after #Monsterdon, a Conan rip-off but a cut above every other Conan rip-off.
Every October Monsterdon puts aside the weekly polls and does a theme.
Last year was 80's Horror, the year before was 70's Dracula and this October belongs to Vincent Price.
This year, #Monsterdon is spending the whole month with horror's queer goth grandpa:
🏚️ House on Haunted Hill (1959)
🦇 The Bat (1959)
🧛 The Last Man on Earth (1964)
⚰️ The Oblong Box (1969)
Four weeks. Four Vincent Price movies. (and if Tubi pulls one before then we'll just pick an alternate I guess)
Hello #Monsterdon folks and @Taweret , has the 1974 movie, "It's Alive" ever been viewed?
(There are A LOT of "It's Alive" movies but the one I am referring to is the one about a baby. I have not seen it. But it looks like it is free to watch on YT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lURm8Khbvek )
Godzilla is relateable because I too wish to vomit nuclear fire on society <3
Want to help #mastodon and the #fediverse flourish? Here’s a few tags you should always boost:
Just casually excommunicating your kid from the family as a method of discipline
Ah, the 80's
if I'm ever attacked by the stuff, please don't "help" by lighting my face on fire
Thanks @Taweret for hosting Stuff and @ryan / @miru for the double and Kodo and Podo for not stealing my pants #monsterdon
