🛑⚠️We have been threatened by Mastodon admin because of our use of Hashtags.
We object to this as Mastodon has no algorithm that forces content onto users, and users cannot subscribe to a hashtag. This means people use hashtags to seek out content. In other words looking into a hashtag is voluntary.

- Improved profile viewer adds featured tags as well as profile links

Fixes
- Tags maintain their original case
- Bug where tags would show twice in different cases
- Link description text would sometimes show the post content instead
- Following and Follower feeds would duplicate content
- Tags no longer overflow into next post or take up all of the space on a post

When we released post editing for #Mastodon, we first released a version that supported processing and displaying edits incoming from other servers, before releasing a version that flipped a switch allowing anyone to make edits. We're taking an identical approach with quote posts, as the upcoming 4.4 version of Mastodon will begin displaying quote posts from other servers and software. Once this is widely deployed on the network, 4.5 will bring the long awaited ability to quote posts.

There is a new tool called Splinter which makes it easier to create Mastodon threads. You enter the full text and it splits it up and posts it as a thread automatically (it also has options for manual splitting).
