I've submitted a Pull Request to update MacPorts' rpki-client to 9.8 here:
https://github.com/macports/macports-ports/pull/32251
GitHub Continuous Integration checks passed OK!
It's up to someone else to merge it.
I couldn't help but notice the most recent OpenBGPD release announcement mentioned something about a -portable branch? Admittedly, it has been a very long time since I looked at building OpenBGPD on macOS, but maybe it is worth looking at again? I still think it is probably ill advised to use macOS for something as critical as routing insomuch as it sleeps, with abandon, unless /usr/bin/caffeinate is invoked.

I submitted a Pull Request to update MacPorts' rpki-client to 9.7 here:
https://github.com/macports/macports-ports/pull/30763
GitHub's Continuous Integration checks passed!
It's up to someone else with commit access to merge it.
For whatever reason? The rpki-client.org website main page hasn't been updated to reflect the release of 9.7 yet, but it's there on the mirrors (and I verified the tarball with signify) and an undeadly.org story was posted, so I am guessing I didn't really beat anything to the punch so much as the World Wide Web isn't a first class citizen contrasted with those toiling in the realms of securing routing protocols, as it should be.

Running a single user or small user instance in the #Fediverse? A relay instance can help you to find more interesting content and to broadcast to other instances!
https://fedi-relay.gyptazy.com is a tech related relay instance that connects over 100 instances, focussing on things like #FreeBSD, #BGP, #IPv6, #Proxmox, #Homelab, #Linux and many other things! You can easily add a really when using #snac / #snac2, #mastodon, #pleroma and many other ones!

I’m tinkering with a free #BGP peering service (by own VMs) for hobbyist AS owners, including free upstream connectivity at various locations. It’s still in the early stages, but I’d love to hear what features the community would find most useful.
Wondering how and why? With @BoxyBSD and @BoxedTux, I’m already running platforms that provide free VPS instances for educational purposes, learning and testing for years now. I guess, providing real AS and peering services (maybe even sponsoring LIR in cooperation [but this would cost money]) could also be very interesting for several ones, apart from the DN42 network. Happily looking for feedback…
