Mastodon has changed the way it previews a linked NeoDB collection:
- before, the middle of the cover image & the title in large text
- now, like a quote post, with the poster's info & first few lines of small text. No title, no cover image.
As perhaps the only person regularly posting NeoDB collections on Mastodon (& someone who has changed the design of NeoDB collection cover images for better preview on Mastodon), I'm not sure I approve! 😅

Two years ago yesterday, I signed up here in protest.
For months, I posted into the void, interacted and followed people and slowly I built, and continue to build, my online family. It's not easy.
I feel like the interactions here are a lot more real. I try my best to keep up and interact and not just have a follower count. That's also not easy.
But for all the difficulties the payoff for me is enormous. This is my online home and you are my online people.
I joined #mastodon last week, on a whim, with no idea what to expect
Minutes later, I was welcomed by @dillyd which has never happened on any other platform and was a wonderful introduction. So I posted a couple pictures of my #cats, and found, to my surprise, people reacting and interacting
Maybe it's because I'm not fighting an algorithm, or maybe I just found a place where folks truly appreciate cats. Either way, I'm very happy to be here, and I hope you're prepared for more cat pictures

I can finally use the official #Mastodon app for iOS after the fix in the last TestFlight beta version 🥰
In the past I always got a rate limit after browsing one or two tabs but this was due to every tab being fully reloaded
The devs fixed this and now it works wonderfully
The latest build of #FediReader is out featuring some UI improvements and some fixes to read later
