if there is one thing i’ve learned from the pandemic is that #LongCOVID isn't unique; that other viral infections ―especially #influenza― can leave us with long-term chronic illnesses after we’ve “gotten over” the infection.

got me thinking when did i start feeling achy all the time? am almost certain i developed #fibromyalgia after a bad #flu infection, turned into “walking” #pneumonia in the 1990s.

can we correlate the explosion of chronic diseases with the normalization of #flu infections?

I went & had a check-up & TYPE B INFLUENZA was the suspect with all of this.. I had to isolate myself and avoid crowded places. Its heartbreaking obviously but dont worry I will definetely be fine & will recover as my doctor says.

So u kno what's hard guys? Take a guess. *sighs*

I don't know if it's just me, but I like the benefit of wearing a mask to prevent inhaling airborne pathogens, but also to hide behind - it makes societally essential 'masking' easier. For example when I'm at work and interact with the public.
