I recently ordered toothpaste from Walgreens. Tonight, about a week later, I received an email from Walgreens letting me know that I did not review my product, would I like to review it? I sat there laughing for 20 minutes, sat straight up, and then sincerely looked off into the distance and told myself, that’s it. I’m gonna write a 500 word review of toothpaste and somehow make it interesting and tie it into surveillance capitalism in 2026. I think 2026 is gonna be an interesting year for the blog. #Humor

Honestly, when I read the first chapter, I was like...
What the heck am I reading?
I thought that the writing was going to just be random philosophical nonsense. And for the first couple of paragraphs, that was what I recieved.
But then...
Herschel being a prisoner in a far off fantasty world really got to me. It seemed just an interesting premise, and seeing him give his satrical thoughts and ideas are just very entertaining to read.
The grammar, plot, and story are all greatly done as well.
Overall, this is a great story that I would recommend to other new readers.
