Auf einer Webseite gibt es eine Möglichkeit, Farben aus einem Bild zu extrahieren. Hier im Beispielbild sieht man das Bild von Tannenspitzen einer Blautanne. Darunter befinden sich fünf Kästchen mit Farben aus dem Bild. Mit einer Liste lassen sich die Farben anpassen. Mit kleinen Kreisen kann man auf dem Bild eine der fünf Hauptfarben genau auswählen.

Ein Fluss mit einer starken Strömung und Wellengang wurde aus einem niedrigen Winkel knapp über der Wasseroberfläche fotografiert, mit Blick stromaufwärts gegen die Strömung. Aufgrund der leicht verlängerten Belichtungszeit erscheinen die Wellen weichgezeichnet, und das Wasser zeigt streifenartige Muster, die die Dynamik des Flusses betonen. Man hat den Eindruck, das Wasser ströme dem Beobachter direkt entgegen.
