<p>A new documentary at Sundance Film Festival shows a community coming together to stop immigration officials snatching their neighbors. But it wasn&#x27;t shot in Minneapolis or Chicago. &quot;Everybody To Kenmure Street&quot; tells the story of a &quot;dawn raid&quot; in Pollokshields, Glasgow, in May 2021, where Home Office agents attempted to detain two Indian Sikhs who had been in the country for a decade. Hundreds of members of the community surrounded the vehicle for hours, after which the two men were released. <p>Here is a rant about why I not watching the oscars:<br>The Oscars are a popularity contest. The preferred oscar winner is slightly above average artsy junk. <p>Wondering aloud.... there are a lot of sites to help indie authors market and sell their books, like BookBub and BookSirens, but what of film? Are there such platforms as well?
