The Glenkens is the wide valley of the Ken river and Loch on the eastern end of #Galloway. flanked by the Rhins of Kells on the west, with the Southern Upland Way going through it Travelling from north to south, we will take you on three walks that give both a flavour of the beautiful landscape of the glen, but also a flavour of the history and folklore of this corner of #Scotland .

On Sunday 31st of May the Storyteller, a beautifully carved and created wooden statue by Robert Lawrence, was installed on Waterside Hill along the Southern Upland Way.
