Fediverse is still the most lively social network I have ever used, since MySpace in 2003. It is better than Twitter or any commercial social media platform ever was. Absolutely love being here.The most profound thing about it is the international coverage. After the first wave of enshittification in 2010, algorithms took over, and suddenly as a polyglot I was labeled as Finnish. No more visible international posts, people only saw the Finnish ones.I've noticed the same effect in commercial AI. It ignores the fact that I use English online 99% of the time and still replies to me in Finnish despite all instructions. Algorithms and AI label you. They assign you a language, a status, a certain type of person. There's no changing that.The Fediverse and Mastodon are delightfully mine, yours, and truly open source - respecting privacy. Nobody's machine can tell you, "You are this, and this is why we do that."Fuck labelers and the fog machines. Let me be me. This would include explanations, demo code, example snippets, and various sections explaining how to build a fully working Fediverse server, with consideration for all of the FEP documents as well. What do you, as a developer, feel is currently missing? What information would make your life a lot easier?

This makes me sad. Here is a preview design for a (business) card promoting the Fediverse (made in Inkscape). I plagiarized the idea from <a href="https://mementomori.social/@juergen_hubert" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@juergen_hubert</a> who has created card templates people can print and give out at protests. Instead, i'm doing fully designed cards for more generic use. Lending my graphic design skills to the community. I will put these out as print ready files under a (non-commercial) Creative Commons license - so anyone can get a stack cheaply printed themselves to give out places or leave in coffee shops etc. If there is interest, I will do a bunch of different designs, different languages, and a US size (I'm designing to EU standards). Plus maybe some stickers and posters too? This particular design is my trademark 'busy with movement' style.
