本来从设计上看 #bluesky 的 #ATprotocol 挺先进的,结果字数限制太难受。我在折腾将Nostr帖子同步过去,但是外链图片又不能直接预览。有点垃圾哦

Bluesky will be age-gating content for UK users. It’s your privacy that pays.
The UK Online Safety Act has unleashed an unregulated market in age verification.
That we have to do these intrusive checks with countless providers for different platforms is dangerous.

The Augmented Reality Game #ARG by @nianticspatial.bsky.social is finally here on #Bluesky👉🏽 @ingress.com #gaming #games #MMORPG #AR #AugmentedReality
The second longest-running Augmented Reality Game (ARG), Ingress by Niantic, has finally joined the Open Social Web today through the ATmosphere network's Bluesky platform.

I don't know how they're doing this quoted post via #Bridgy . (See attached image.)
I tried quoting someone else's post and my own, but none worked.
Something to SNS providers and software can learn from the gaming industry is name filters.
Majority, if not all, online #games implement a RegExp-based or manual input name blocklist. In the socmed landscape, software like Mastodon should implement it to prevent any handles **and** display names with "Mastodon" in it.
Instance admins and moderators should be able to add new entries as they see fit. They can choose between RegExp matching or manual input.
It is an effective way to minimize fake accounts pretending to be the platform, instance, service, and/or software. For example, the Mastodon **software** is currently being bombarded by fake accounts about "Mastodon account verification", with "Mastodon" in either their handle or display name, or both.
Other social media software and platforms should implement it as well. Of course, it is not the ultimate solution, but it at least adds another layer to enable admins and moderators to fight against scammers and phishers pretending to be official accounts or channels.

I bridged to #Bluesky because there's some people that I want to follow and that only post there. This also means that if you're on Bluesky, you can see my posts.
If you read any of my posts on Bluesky, keep in mind that links may be altered. So please read my posts on mstdn.social.
Also, if you don't like to be tagged bcs of that bridge, please do inform me (or block me from tagging you). I mean no harm, but the bridge does funny things sometimes.
ALERT for Bluesky Bridge Users 🚨 🦋
If you are using a Bluesky bridge on Mastodon, DO NOT TAG Mastodon accounts in your posts without prior informed consent from this person.
This could end up showing a preview of this person's profile picture and bio on Bluesky without their consent.
Additionally, be careful about how the upcoming Quote Post feature could behave with Bluesky bridges.
Some of us don't want our information shared with commercial platforms like Bluesky, and have not consented to this bridge.
This practice can even endanger some Fediverse users.
If you have chosen to share your
own data with commercial platforms, make sure you leave the same choice to others.
This is important.

What does a Discord replacement look like, and how might the open social web play a part? @laurenshof looks at what needs to happen — different apps built on the same protocols, active collaboration to make sure it all fits together — and how that's already fundamental to the Atmosphere and fediverse.

The Bluesky corporation continues to host and verify the official ICE account, and the account has now started posting propaganda without any bans or restrictions despite being guilty of murders and kidnaps.
Bluesky also continue to host and verify many other parts of the regime including the White House, JD Vance, Homeland Security, the Department of War.
Bluesky's CEO said in a Wired interview that Trump is welcome to join any time he wants, smiling as she said so.
Bluesky weren't forced to do this. They are choosing to assist fascists presumably because they hope it will get them favours from the regime.
Every now and then people break into a fight on here over fediverse vs the Atmosphere (or Bluesky, as its main representative).
I get it. Many of us get frustrated when we see people flocking to a VC-funded fediverse competitor.
But let's focus this energy on making the fediverse a place people want to spend their time in.
Bluesky and Wide Decentralization
Contrary to current perceptions, Bluesky can not be widely decentralized because full independence on AT Protocol simply costs too much. This is not something that can be fixed. It is based on the inherent architecture of the protocol.
All ATProto components rely on some very expensive network resources, accordingly there will never be very many, making these resources points of centralization.

When people can see who you’ve blocked, and block you in response, that’s not privacy. BS will eventually end up like Twitter.
All the #Bluesky defenders, don’t @ me about it.
I sat down with @snarfed.org to talk about his work around the #fediverse, the #indieweb and the #atmosphere including (fed.)brid.gy and @anewsocial

I will be opting my account out of the #Bluesky bridge next week. If you follow me from Bluesky (I think there are about 3.9K of you) and want to continue seeing my posts you will need to get an account on the fediverse. Cheers.
Bluesky Reveals Massive Hidden Investment
Today #Bluesky revealed that in April 2025 they received a whopping $100M venture capital investment lead by Bain Capital Crypto and that they KEPT IT A SECRET.
https://bsky.social/about/blog/03-19-2026-series-b
So the answer to the big mystery Who Owns Bluesky? (https://mastodon.online/@mastodonmigration/116025246450023071) is finally out. Crypto VCs.
Now, we should be asking why did this company that prides itself on transparency and "decentralization" decide they needed to hide who owned the company?
It's here! SocialFusion is now in public beta! 🥳
One app. Your Mastodon timeline and your Bluesky feed, together.
I built this because I got tired of checking two apps to keep up with the people I care about. If you're on both networks, this is for you.
It's written entirely in Swift for a smooth, native iOS experience.

Even #Bluesky, a supposed alternative to the decaying toxic mess known as X, is a giant data trap.
“In April 2025, Bluesky raised $100 million in Series B funding led by Bain Capital Crypto”
“The Atmosphere currently contains about 20 billion public records—the posts, likes, comments and other interactions” (including blocks + mutelists are public lists).
Anyone who doesn’t see the next move needs only look to #Reddit.
Thanks @_elena for drawing attention to this.

This, in a nutshell, is why it is dangerous that all liberal media is now setting up shop on Bluesky.
We have a critical midterm coming up and these important voices are willfully submitting to a censorship regime run by crypto VC tech bros.
How About Some AI With Your Bluesky?
A tale of two social networks.
Last week some enterprising Mastodon account was discovered to be scraping posts to feed to an AI for the purpose of helping people navigate the Fediverse. The response was swift. The alarm went out. The account was widely blocked and shunned.
Yesterday to great fanfare #Bluesky announced, as a new corporate feature, all posts would be scraped and an AI would now help users navigate the ATmosphere.
https://techcrunch.com/2026/03/28/bluesky-leans-into-ai-with-attie-an-app-for-building-custom-feeds/
Maybe its vibe coded. Maybe the code was shit!
Bluesky users are mastering the fine art of blaming everything on "vibe coding"
I'm really hoping USA BlueSky posters start using a cross-posting tool to a Fediverse instance soon and let others know about it. Especially anyone organizing for left(ish) candidates in primaries and general elections in November.
Things are not looking good over there right now and there needs to be a backup plan.
Bluesky thanks you for giving them the benefit of the doubt. That was all they needed. You may now get fucked.
RE: https://eicker.news/@technews/116319450670426850
THIS IS MADNESS
you know how people have traditionally created custom feeds of information from the web? using apps that parse RSS & ATOM files.
🗣YOU DO NOT NEED TO CODE TO USE RSS
Bluesky is the one supposed to do the coding, not users.
there is absolutely no justification nor rationalization for using #Bluesky. NONE WHATSOEVER. Bluesky is the “gentler, kindler” #nazi bar that will burn down whole forests, dry up all rivers instead of using open web standards.
