It was a bit of an ordeal, but the road bike has been given its inaugural "okay winter is no longer an excuse" deep cleaning, in anticipation of tonight's Midnight Marathon since it's also an opportunity to check all of the components.
Bit of a chore without a hose, but a two-basin bucket does the trick well enough with an interlude to change the water.

riding bikes every day until I can’t for some reason, day 1780
Been quiet for a few days, because I've been busy cycling up Pack Monadnock for 4th of July weekend.
Three days, 3x climb up summit, 260 miles, 20,000 feet elevation gain.

With the addition of a bottle cage using a handlebar adapter¹, my Raleigh's cockpit becomes a little more crowded, but a little more practical.
I also got some brake levers to replace the ones that came with the bike, which I loathe. No rush on installing those, since the bike is currently inoperable for want of a rear tire
