Hey autistic community. I got a question about autism and HSP. I remember a discussion on the fedi, that HSP is an ableist invention and that HSP actually are on the autistic spectrum. But I don't have any clues about that, nor links to the old discussion. Research on the web always results in speaking of both of two different things. I am curious, what's your take on ASD vs HSP?

I need this met yesterday, so I can stop worrying whether I can stay alive and about electricity and water for the rest of the month, which is only 9 days left. And then the anxiety resets for the new month, a new set of bills. I'm too disabled for capitalist jobs and my government hates disabled people.

This week, we have some map contributions from @Catwoman69y2k . Much appreciated! The 1st map shows where the "Origin" is (the crosshairs; the point where one first "spawns"). The "Owl" region has the most buildings (there's more than what is labelled) and train tracks connecting everything. The second map is the "Owl" region zoomed in. Train tracks connect each place shown. Vast regions still remain unexplored, and boating around is recommended to do that exploring (eg. bring a friend and boat together).

When I was a child visiting friends, I would tour every room of their apartment before I could sit down and play. I had no idea I was doing it. I just couldn't settle until I had a complete map.
That pattern never went away.
There's a documented phenomenon called intolerance of uncertainty: the autistic nervous system's difficulty tolerating absent information. Any gap in the map feels like a potential trapdoor. The scan runs continuously — not because something is wrong, but because the system needs more explicit data to feel oriented.
The exhaustion isn't from interacting. It's from never switching off.

What are your experiences with underwear? What bothers you the most, and what features do you find desirable or necessary for comfort?
I’m primarily interested in bras, but not exclusively. I’d love to hear about anything you wear directly against your body that falls under the broad category of underwear/lingerie.
I’d like to identify common themes shared by many people, while also understanding the full range and diversity of your experiences.
I’m planning to write an article about this for a lingerie industry magazine, with the aim of making lingerie manufacturers and retailers more aware of the needs of people with sensory hypersensitivity.

Way I'm starting to see #ADHD and #Autism isn't that they're disorders, they only appear that way because society has changed to privilege the people now called neurotypical while causing problems for the now neurodivergent. It's why a lot of people think neurodivergence is a new thing: Until society disordered itself to exclude us, it wasn't as such a big, visible problem.
A thing I absolutely despise: when people think they can make decisions for me, without my consent or knowledge. Seething, thermonuclear level hatred I have for this behavior.
