Since mid-January, I have been working on the next Ubuntu animal illustration inspired by the upcoming OS release name. It is created, like Oracular Oriole, with Krita and Blender. Every inch/mm is digitally hand-drawn.

Oracular Oriole - an oracle bird reading prophecies from matcha tea (milk foam in the shape of an open eye) with the inscriptions on the cup "Know thyself" a Greek maxim referencing the oracle of Delphi. Oracular Oriole has great taste and proudly wears its sacred matcha brush as a hat. A cozy atmosphere adds to the magic, candles, and bowls filled with matcha/autumn leaves, spices like cinnamon, anise stars, vanilla pods, pumpkin/matcha powder, its favorite orange/lemon/citrus zest, and blueberries can be seen, too. In the front, two orioles are visiting this magical place none of them look like the other. They are much smaller than the mystical Oriole in the center of attention and are here to receive their reading. The sand on the floor forms lots of circles, a bit like a zen garden. Some sand routes seem to have moved a teapot to the scenery. These circular patterns also appear in the background but are colorful seagrass decoration. Electric pulses and colorful light show how far the supernatural work is at its current state. What will the future hold for the Orioles? Guilty as charged.

Though I know the importance of not rushing into the day, too often I enter it with my mind on the chores, and easily pass by the silence and calm of morning.

But when I remember to stop, if even for a moment, and feel the coolness of the air, listen to the birds, and notice the fresh and fragile wildflowers, I am blessed by nature's gifts.
