Currently writing a Fantasy series and putting together my yearly #zine for that through Patreon.

The work depicts the three witches from Macbeth, characters.

The witches are grouped together in the foreground, forming a tight, triangular arrangement. Their figures are hunched and enveloped in heavy cloaks, their gestures mysterious and conspiratorial. One may be shown pointing, another in the act of casting or stirring, while the third leans forward as if whispering some secret.

This time of year, the transition from hot and humid and buggy summer to the cool refreshing blue-skies-colorful-trees of autumn is always a time of quiet excitement and anticipation for me. Though mostly I'm not a summer person, admittedly the visits to the ocean, the flowers and birdies and bees and butterflies in the garden, and the occasional fun thunderstorm (not the destructive ones) are times I treasure. But autumn, those incredibly magical sunny crispy-golden days that we see ... not every year ... are a gift.

In this piece I attempted to show the excitement of the season's changes, from the sadness many feel for the end of summer ... to the brilliance and joy of those too-brief golden days ... to the foreshadowing of the dark days of winter.

I hate it when I talk about AI "art" and how awful it is, and people respond with "Oh, but it will get so much better at it! It will be able to create amazing stuff, not just creepy images!"

I. Don't. Care.

I want stuff made by thinking, feeling, flawed humans. That's the whole point. I don't care how good AI is at "art". I don't care that "writing a good prompt is difficult". I really don't. The problem was never the quality to begin with.

I've never understood people who travel to the country, into a quiet place, and bring their noise -- stereos, dirt bikes and other traveling toys, even their voices, in a constant shout.
