First time watching this version. I've seen Murder, My Sweet (1944) twice. I didn't realize that the 1944 had to have some slight changes due to the Hays Code. Slightly better than the 1944 version due to the acting of Robert Mitchum and Charlotte Rampling. It's fun that we also have Harry Dean Stanton and Sylvester Stallone in minor parts.
