Charming and funny. Hornier and kinkier than expected. Quirky. Some cartoonish, campy vignettes. I expected it to be a romantic-comedy and it is… but it’s also MORE than that. Parts are influenced by westerns like Shane.

So bad it’s awesome. Great costumes and practical effects. Some bonkers body horror.

Terrible dialogue. Bad soundtrack.

One of the best Amityville films.
The possession stuff, the deaths, and the climax are all actually pretty good. One of the deaths had me cheering and laughing because it was so satisfying.
Looks and feels like The Room at times with stiff acting and bland/cheesy sets. Stereotypical characters that we \*barely\* care about.
