The House Financial Services Republicans and the White House (now deleted) tagged either a hacked or fake account in their announcements that Paul Atkins was sworn in as SEC Chair. The "Atkins" account immediately started asking for crypto.
So, let me get this straight. A California senator started to ask questions the DHS Secretary didn't want to answer and was *forceably removed* from the press conference? A press conference about DHS activity in the state he represents, about his constituents being disappeared.

ProPublica has identified nine additional Musk-affiliated staffers. A former staffer at Boring Company now has an official role at DOGE in the Executive Office of the President. A former X employee now works in the General Services Administration.
If Germans own #Hitler - and we obviously do - then Americans definitely own #Trump .
Saying: "I didn't vote for him!" Is no longer enough. Now the question is: "Do you comply, or do you resist?"
The Germans who grew up after WWII also asked these questions to the generations of their parents and grandparents... and the latter often failed to have good answers.

Under #Biden US national labs found themselves hamstrung by micromanagement, demands from the administration that resources be diverted away from #science while regulators repeatedly shut down programs much to the chagrin of our International partners.
It's been a breath of fresh air that the new administration has allowed us to actually get back to work. I don't even care if they know what they are doing, at least they are no longer interfering. Science is getting back on track now.
Regardless of everything else that #Trump might be getting into, and maybe it's just because he's just that incompetent, at least the US is getting back on track with its scientific endeavors. Our experiments are getting back up to speed after years of crippling bureaucracy, and we can start making progress again.
There's a lot to complain about with Trump, but I am very glad to see that the expectations for science are living up to what I'd hoped.
