Police have arrested a man for handing out face shields to protesters in LA (I’ve also seen reports that he may have been distributing masks)
Why is this a crime? Why is providing PPE to people who are being hit with chemical munitions and rubber bullets an offence?
This is bleak.
Once again this ties back to disability rights.
If more people would help normalize masks; they wouldn’t have such an easy time vilifying them
Ironically these protests are going to lead to more disability, at least in part because police are making it impossible for people to protect themselves.
