Some of my trees have already changed to autumn colours as they are so stressed from the hot and dry weather, 2 months early! Parrotia persica has changed to red and Pyrus pyraster (wild pear) to orange. It looks pretty but it actually is quite sad. #climatechange #trees

The sight of #trees loosing their leaves over the past few weeks has made #ClimateChange very real and visible.

I had wondered to what extent this heat stress was killing many of our older trees.
