1. Love walking around downtown areas where you see simple sights like the one pictured.
2. Grateful that my passion for picturing making is starting to come to the front of my consciousness after a long stretch of situational depression that is finally receding.
3. Learned that my nearly year long intermittent dizziness is not from vertigo but rather from Eustachian Tube Dysfunction. OTC allergy med and non steroid nose spray to the rescue.

1. The smell of honeysuckle when we drive up the road just past our house.
2. Love reading other people’s #ThreeGoodThings lists each day. It’s a great way to remain positive and to be grateful in these stressful times (of my life).
3. Finished organizing my crafting area so that things are easier to find.
Bonus - my sweet heart cat. Where every day is Caturday around here. ❤️
1. Met with an RN at a new gastroenterology office. Love that they are familiar with celiac disease (gluten allergy). Amazingly, not all GI docs are, hence why I am at a new office.
2. Glad the rains held off so that I could walk to and from the parking structure to the medical building (I missed the shuttle both ways this morning).
3. Little Lending Libraries are wonderful! The one in the photo is in Sault Ste Marie Michigan a couple years ago.
1. A short video with the sounds of waves and a view of the Mackinac Bridge.
2. Daily photo memory feed.
3. Sunrises on the Great Lakes.

Can’t seem to imbed the alt text to the video, so here it is:
Alt text: A video with the sound of waves and a view of the Mackinac Bridge at sunrise. The sky is clear and a muted purple blue with a tinge of orange at the horizon. An empty beach and clumps of grass are in the foreground.
1. Mostly succeeding in not letting someone else’s extremely bad behavior ruin my mental wellbeing.
2. Got into the house before a strong thunderstorm hit the Blue Ridge.
3. Blue sunsets on Lake Superior.

For the past several years, I have been mindfully trying to keep more positivity and less negativity in my little universe.
For me, the Three Good Things tag here is an abbreviated version of my gratitude journal. A big thank you to all of you who participate in this tag - it's wonderful to see so many positive things in today's world.
1. My 91-year-old Dad continues to be an inspiration to me.
2. Thankful for my health, both physical and mental wellbeing. Had some good news last month and I'm so grateful.
3. Thankful for the ability to set the TV so that when it's turned on, it is on the last viewed channel -- today, that's The Rifleman (and not the news or local broadcasts).
1) There was a talk at my local library about the history of transgender medicine in the USA. Given by a doctor who has a practice here.
2) My mom went. She said it was packed, standing room only.
3) Mom signed up to provide free temporary housing for trans people who travel from far away to get treatment at the clinic.
P.S. If you want more details about the town, the library, or the clinic, feel free to DM me.
1. Managed to change the ink on our Brother laser printer despite being bamboozled by the wordless IKEA-style instructions. Who knew the drum was connected to each color cartridge? HP never prepared me for this madness.
2. Ventured out to a local garden and was greeted by the koi in the pond. They’re obviously used to being fed when a human appears. I had nothing to offer. I felt bad about because this little guy swam over quickly.
3. Again found a beautiful sunset photo from our vacation last year on Lake Superior. We were staying at a cabin once owned by my grandparents and it was the first time dad and I stayed overnight there in nearly 50 years.

1. Finding a favorite photo in daily memories can really boost my spirits.
2. So thankful for a summer vacation last year when we stayed at a cabin on Lake Superior and I could watch the sun set every single night (photo below)
3. Halfway through the book series by Jessica Ellicott (Beryl and Edwina mysteries, based in England after the First World War) and savoring every moment of this delightful series!
1. Dad’s doctor appointment went well today
2. Cats in boxes, the allure is real (see image)
3. Love clicking the New Shows icon on Mixcloud every day.

1. Thankful for my 91+ year old dad. Despite his frustrations at aging, he continues to show and exhibit much grace and compassion to those around him.
2. Thankful for the cooler weather here in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
3. Thankful for the 2 characters pictured here - our 10+ year old sister and brother black cats. Girlie on the left and Fat Boy on the right. They are as different from each other as they can be.

1. My primary care doc put in a referral for the orthopedic hand doc. Hopefully the referral will get me a quicker appointment than my phone call did (late September).
1.a. Blessed I didn’t need the orthopedic hand doc in over 4 years. Trouble is, if it’s been over 3 years, you’re treated as a new patient so there’s a long wait for an appointment at a time when you really need to get in sooner than later. Lesson learned.
2. High of 75 here in the Blue Ridge Mountains today and only 72 tomorrow. Yay!
3. Listened to my favorite songs in the car on the way to and from the doctor appointment. Windows down, sun roof open and good music is good for the soul.
Bonus - love looking back at my nightly sunset shots on Lake Superior when we stayed at our family cabin last year. I miss living near the Great Lakes (home).
