Sweet bird is an acrylic painting in contemporary square format painted by artist Karen Kaspar. A cute little bird is sitting on a branch and is looking to the right side. The bird seems to be smiling.
The inspiration for this bird portrait was a female house sparrow sitting in a bush in our garden. But I was in the mood for some soft candy pastel colors. So it became a fantasy bird in colorful shades of teal, yellow and pink. The abstract background echoes these colors.

Drei weibliche Sperlinge mit weichem, flauschigem Gefieder sitzen zusammen auf einem schlanken Ast und halten ein Schwätzchen. Die beiden Vögel auf der linken Seite schauen nach rechts, der Haussperling ganz rechts schaut nach links zu den beiden anderen. Die zarten Federn der kleinen Singvögel sind in verschiedenen Brauntönen mit lockeren, sanften Pinselstrichen gemalt. Der Hintergrund ist abstrakt in warmen Braun-, Lila-, Erd- und Schokotönen gemalt.
