Standing on an embankment looking down on a brook that is about 15 feet wide. Close to the camera are several dried yellow leaves still attached to small branches. The water of the brook is surrounded by shoebox/sized rocks and both the rocks and water are covered with hundreds of fallen birch leaves. Across the brook are the woods and its forest floor of leaves and pine needles. There are many thin trees reaching into the sky, their branches and leaves lit up by the setting sun which is straight ahead.

Cistern under the Alcazar in Seville, Spain used for drinking water. It is a long rectangular pool with an vaulted ceiling above, not unlike the ceiling in a gothic cathedral. (I fixed it up a little to look more elegant.)
