Damn, Sebastian really knows what historical romance is for.
I don’t even have words for how much I loved this.
Joining the others who really enjoyed Lee Welch's Mr. Collins in Love. It not only does a great job of portraying Collins (the obnoxious clergyman from Pride and Prejudice) as a high-masking neurodivergent person doing his best, but also gives him a believably neurodivergent romance, which is all about what he and his lover need from each other and nothing to do with what romance readers expect. Welch doesn't divert from canon but still gives everybody a satisfying ending, including Charlotte. Definitely recommend.
#AmReading, still, The Book Witch and interested in where the plot is going. Also, the "fictional" Duke is decidedly charming.
But it's driving me up the wall that a book so obviously designed to appeal to book lovers (both the story and the physical object) has editing/proofreading mistakes! I bet it drives the author up the wall too. The Book Witch herself must be dying of embarrassment.
