Just quickly ran up @thomasadam Compositor on Wayland -- a stacking window manager using river as the compositor. CoW aims to behave like fvwm and mwm from X11.
Obviously to see what it's all about and if I could even go back to a stacking window manager.

PS: I have not yet customised the theme it's the out of the box theme.

Being a tiling WM girl I'm actually quite liking the new Cow ( Compositor on Wayland ( fvwm )) and I've already found a few issues which Thomas promptly solves or tells me I'm doing stuff wrong. I never really got into fvwm back in the day but trying this I can see the possibilities and it feels nostalgic. Who knows I might even become a fulltime convert, one of the herd? So I'm going to milk this one as much as I can before I'm put out to pasture. 🐄🤪

Yes. This looked like a good place to stop; theirs would be the only boats here.

So they banked the vessels on the shore; took out the backpacks with their lunch and the excellent books each of them had thought to bring, and spent a most productive and satisfying afternoon.
