rio-like configuration for base openbsd fvwm2
Currently working on squeeze titlebars.
This is something which some people wanted in fvwm, and it actually comes from #ctwm, whereby the titlebar was squeezed to its length so it didn't take up the whole width of the window.
Wayland doesn't have any shape support (a la XShape extension) so doing this manually is tricky.
Anyway, screenshot attached of what squeezed titlebars will look like in CoW. Options for left, centre, or right aligned.
Hello all. Here's a few minor updates since I last posted:
* Output management improvements. Now, when, monitors are turned off, or one switches to a VT and back again, window positions are restored correctly. This is controlled by `set preserve_desk_on_output_loss` which defaults to true. Setting this to `false` will use the first available output and desk and mash all windows onto that.
* A new `desk-name` command to rename and limit the number of desks per output. There's also a `desks.count` setting to control the minimum number of desks.
Plus a few bug-fixes.
Since my last post, I've not had an offer to help overhaul the default config. That's OK -- but I admit, a pity as well.

They're all from me, each in a state of "I'm working on them". The most recent is the DSL PR, which I hope will help with low-level scripting.

This mimics the AnotherLevel theme from RedHat 5.X days, from early 1994 onward.
This is how I started out with fvwm.
No, it's not nostalgic for me, but I do like how it looks.
I suspect some of you might not.
If you want to change it, now's your chance, otherwise this is going to become the default theme...

As a bit of fun, I've made a twm theme for cow.

I say fun -- I had to create the XPM files for the titlebar buttons, but that's cool. I like the XPM format.
There's been a few modifications to CoW and cowiconman to support relief themes for some components (buttons in cowiconman, mostly) -- but these are improvements which were worthwhile making any way.
This has been merged to main...
I've always had a soft spot for twm, so being able to emulate the style in cow is rather interesting, I think. :)
