Okay, so it is official now. My poem 'Kiss' won fourth prize, and my poem 'Soap' won a Judge's choice award in the Ontario Poetry Society Ultrashort poetry competition. Very happy with this.

Ooh, just heard that the #StaffordChallenge are now taking sign-ups for next year. Inspired by William Stafford, it's 'a commitment to writing a poem every day for a year, starting January 17, 2026'. Support includes monthly guest-poet zoom events, and 'bi-weekly inspirational emails'. Free of charge (but donations welcome).
I'm in! Will post here at least occasionally with this hashtag in 2026, and would love to hear from others taking part.
