This is a detailed, realistic photograph of English ivy (a climbing vine) growing densely up the rough trunk of a large tree in a woodland setting. Happy #MountainMonday everyone :)

Today I share a favourite from a trip years ago into the high mountains of the Assiniboine Range in #Canada during fall when the golden larches were at their absolute peak. The golden larches dotting the landscape in golden colouring at every turn.

Highly recommend backpacking this region. It is absolutely stunning.
