Overnight we said goodbye to Meta (2011-2025). She was the best first dog for so many people, both children and adults. Thank you to the family, friends, coworkers, and one-time acquaintances who showed the same friendly loving energy that she did.

I left work before 4 pm which is the key to come home without getting trapped in traffic. Kengo had supper and waiting for me to eat mine so he can get some scrap (reduced amounts these days).

We had such a long workday today that daily #dog photo almost slipped my mind!

Here is Camu in May 2025, doing a squirrel — or maybe more of a mongoose type of move — to see if the person who just banged the car door is indeed his bestie (my partner) or just some vandal who needs to be barked at 😆❤️

It didn't rain as forecast but was humid. I regretted I wore a long-sleeve. Wild azaleas were gorgeous, and I didn't know the white variety is so fragrant.

He went out with me and did his #1 right away after I came home from work. After supper, when he usually does #2, I tried to make him do it before forecast heavy rain starts. But...he wasn't interested and wanted to come back in. We will try again after the rain lets up.
It's super humid . While I was with him in the yard, mosquitos ate me alive...Memorial Day is the unofficial start of summer here in GA...But school is out, no more school buses for a while!!!
