After being motivated by some toots by @keeya, I went to the Wildpark Poing again, and this time with a camera.
As is tradition for my excursions, I have quite a few silly pictures, which I am gonna put here first, the rest of the nice ones follows later™ (maybe tomorrow), since I am still on the train home.

An old Gothic crypt, lost and forgotten in the forest of Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The vaulted ceiling is tall and arched with strong ribs in classic Gothic style. Long vines hang down from the ceiling, having worked their way down through the roof. The beautiful red and black floor tiles caught my eye as I walked in!

This is the 2nd summer for my purple coneflowers. Last year it was about a 1/3 the size and this year is has already put on more blooms than all of last year.

Purple coneflower is a favorite of mine and a friend was kind enough to let me pull some out of his garden two years ago. That's my favorite way to garden: cheap/free and an early reward 👍.
