offgrid

Ah, the delights of northern Scotland in January. Ten minutes ago, we had 1kW of a potential 2.1kW of solar power coming in. It's now raining and precisely 0W of solar power is coming in.

Top tip for all you #offgrid folk out there - go and have a widdle before doing lead-acid battery maintenance.
It may lead to one of those "I can just manage this cell, then I'll have to run" moments, then you forget the noise the deionised water makes when you pour it into the dispenser, let alone the slow. controlled dribble into each cell.
Also, it's 4°C out there - that doesn't help.

Hello, Tradeless Earth is a project promoting moneyless society.

We don't accept funds, because it's anti-trade of course.

But we need help:

• First is finding people interested in more just, equal and sustainable world to join the conversation.

• Helping us migrate our website to their own server.
If someone has to spare.

• Helping in research about the content we add on website.

*Doesn't matter if you can spare only half hour per week. Everything counts!
