BLOUNT COUNTY, TN… #NoKings From @michaelabfortn: www.instagram.com/reel/DWbywyQ...
This is my third #NoKings march in #NYC, and the turnout was so huge that the route overflowed in multiple directions; I've never seen anything like it. Amy and I chilled in the park for a while waiting for the throng in Columbus Circle to move at all, then we scooted down 6th Ave a bit to find the march underway at both 7th and Broadway in parallel. The resulting human traffic jam in Times prevented any continuous walking. We baby-stepped as far as 50th St with our bad knees and called it good.
When you see those official numbers for #SanDiego #NoKings be sure to add 1!
Spent an hour+ on the nearest major corner all by my lonesome - fewer cars than I expected (but more than this pic makes it seem because I cropped out cars/license plates so I don’t doxx anyone) hoping that’s because everyone was at the big rallies!
Pics from No Kings rallies around the world.

We live in the downtown area of a small town, and today the streets are packed with cars, which tell me something is happening. My first thought was that the No Kings protest must be starting in our end of town, but then I thought, well, can’t be sure, we have lots of events and it’s not weird for parking to fill up for them.
Then I watched an older couple walk past the house, moving slowly, slightly stooped, grey hair. And the guy is carrying a big handmade sign that says SMALL DICK ENERGY in thick block letters. So yeah, okay, I’m gonna go with No Kings.
I have created an US-sized (3.5x2in) version of the #FediCard , as well as written some explanations and instructions.
I would _really_ appreciate if someone here who participates in the upcoming #NoKings #protests for #July4th would print some of these out, distributed them, and told me what the reaction of the recipients was.

I didn’t get many photos but here’s some of the puppet contingent we were lucky enough to match with
A solid turnout today in #MarbleFalls for the #NoKings rally. A few boos and middle fingers, but the honks and hollers far outweighed the negativity.
You are not alone, even in the reddest of states.

We are estimating more than 200,000 people at the flagship No Kings rally in the Twin Cities. #NoKings
Well, I just returned from a VERY interesting #Indivisible #SantaFe (ISF) meeting. Santa Fe’s new mayor was summoned to the meeting by a #NewMexico state legislator in attendance. This led to me having to supply the meeting with an impromptu presentation on First Amendment law and why the City of Santa Fe cannot lawfully charge ISF $25,000+ for a closed streets permit for #NoKings on March 28. 1/
This was by far my favorite sign.
I only got a couple pics at my local No Kings rally, but these signs begged to be photographed.
Friends and neighbors, I am lifted up. I’m thinking there were easily 150 people on the square of our little university town in east Alabama, and we got tons of honks and waves and smiles.
Notably, the only people flipping us off were middle-aged to old white men. Big shock.
This rally would NEVER have happened in our town during the first Turnip term. Things are changing, folks, and they’re changing in a big way. Hope is a powerful force.
