I have created an US-sized (3.5x2in) version of the #FediCard , as well as written some explanations and instructions.

I would _really_ appreciate if someone here who participates in the upcoming #NoKings #protests for #July4th would print some of these out, distributed them, and told me what the reaction of the recipients was.

As the firecrackers pop, Benson won't settle down in Safe Place (on a cozy blanket in the cool, dark bathroom) until I sit on the toilet, arrange the blanket, rub his back, and tell him he's ok in my *Mommy Loves You* voice.

He's snoring now.

We all need someone to soothe us and tell us we're ok right now.

Except MAGAs. They can fuck off. (It's not my ministry right now to comfort them. Maybe someone else can do it.)

never mind that one-half of the lip synching duo DIED eons ago. what most people don't remember is that C+C Music Factory was also caught lipsynching, but with a twist: Zelma Davis, the woman in the Gonna Make You Sweat *is* a singer but the video makes it look like she sings Marth Wash’s part ―who wasn't credited & had to sue them.

Amazing photo by Cheney Orr from today. Black woman sitting alone on the DC Metro with a crowd of masked white supremacists on their way to the capital to march with confederate flags.

There is also a deeper analogy for what I keep hearing over and over from Black people: finding themselves surrounded by white people who either do not know, or do not care, about how America looks from the Black person's perspective.
