Tardigrades (water bears) are also called “moss piglets” by some. Cool. I guess I can see that 🤔

Also, my son just told me that they are in the clade “panarthropoda, which includes arthropods, tardigrades, and velvet worms,”and their little mouths are called “stylets.”

I learn something new every day. 🎉

The path is relatively level -- the trail hasn't started seriously climbing yet -- so you can walk it relatively quickly.

But then again, why hurry? It's pleasant here in the midst of the trees. There's both sunlight and shadow, and the path itself is a bit mysterious, teasing you about where it wants to go.
