The first major engagement in the Jacobite rebellion, Prestonpans was a stunning victory for the (mostly Highland) troops under Charles Edward Stuart. <p>Was thinking about &quot;songs that formed me&quot; (h/t <a href="https://beige.party/@Waitnwallflower" rel="nofollow">@Waitnwallflower</a>) and I realized I missed one of my biggest ones: &quot;Sweetness and Light&quot; by Lush.</p><p>Here I am, college student, 1990 or so, friend has MTV, and this song blasts out. I fell in love instantly. Cannot explain it but every single part of this song hit perfectly. And it still does, even after a ridiculously long time. </p><p>I&#x27;m so glad that Miki Berenyi and Emma Anderson are both still making music.
