A few fungi from todays walk with the MK Photography group in the gloomy Linford Wood.
With the poison ivy leaves out of the way, I was able to get back to the Varnish Shelf mushrooms to log a final photo of this year’s life cycle.

In mid-October, I took my ridiculous 4mm fisheye lens out to the forest.
It's honestly not bad for photographing mushrooms – uniquely enabling you to get both the mushroom and the rest of the forest in frame at the same time. And it's always fun to experiment.
