Ms Roxy Cardinal is molting and her fiery tuft is missing… 🥹🧡🐦✨

#BirdCallOut #MsCardinal

Tan and olive colored bird with bright red/orange beaks and blushed red wingtips and tail feathers is perched on the weathered wooden fence, facing right. Her fiery tuft is missing and her head looks punk. She has dark but bright eyes and dark around the beaks. Beautiful bird.

The same bird on the same wooden fence, now looking straight at us. Her pouty face is adorable.

Ms Roxy Cardinal now comes to wait for peanuts on the lemon tree.

#MsCardinal #birdcallout

A tan bird with dark eyes, charcoal muzzle around her bright orange beaks, and long orange tail feathers is perched on the lemon branch with her head turned to the right. There are wet lemon leaves above her, shielding from some rain. Her head tuft hasn’t grown back yet. The corner post of the white railing is in the background. There’s a small convex mirror hanging on a lemon branch seen at the top right of the vertical photo.
